Restaurant Tips and Gratuities Policy

We operate a cash-only tipping policy at Zeytin. We do not add tips or service charges to any electronic payments.

We pride ourselves on the fair and honest treatment of our staff and team members. All staff are paid at least the National Living Wage, or above, depending on performance and length of service.

Any tips paid in cash are retained by the individual waiter and may or may not be shared with other staff in the restaurant. It is the responsibility of those receiving cash tips to declare this income for tax purposes to HM Revenue & Customs. M.Mason Horsham Ltd does not manage or administer cash tips.

We are committed to supporting our team and making our venue a fantastic and fair place to work.

We also offer all our team:

  • Pension schemes

  • Flexible working

  • Meals when on duty

We are an accredited Living Wage Employer and fully support the UK Government’s voluntary code of best practice on service charges, tips and gratuities. Further details can be found on the Gov.uk website.
